Choose from either their highset house or one of the fishermen's cabins. Within metres from your cabin you can have your choice of fishing from the rocky headland, open surf beach or quiet bay protected by the headland.

The Indian Head area is renowned for catching the big tailor, during the tailor season. Other species caught are Dart, Jewfish, Mackeral, Shark, Reef Fish, the list goes on. Watch Whales breeching in front of you from the front deck of the units or swim at the nearby champagne pools.

From here you can do everything or do nothing and enjoy both.

Getting to Fraser Island

Fraser Island is accessible by barge. We have quite a few enquiries how to book the barge and about payment. There are no bookings, you just need to arrive at the barge with time to spare prior to departure and there are no credit card facilities so make sure you have cash with you.
